As you approach Maastricht, you will see ‘MECC’ indicated on motorway signs; these will guide you to the MECC Maastricht car parks. Coming from Amsterdam/Eindhoven, take exit 55 (Randwyck-MECC) and from Paris-Liège take exit 56 (Gronsveld-MECC).

A bus leaves every five minutes from Maastricht city centre or Maastricht Central Station headed to MECC Maastricht (Forum MECC bus stop).

The Maastricht-Randwyck train station is 250 metres from MECC Maastricht, and is connected to an international rail network. There are also regular connections to Maastricht Central Station which is part of the (inter)national rail network.

Maastricht-Aachen Airport is 10 km from MECC Maastricht, and MECC Maastricht is 15 minutes from the airport by car, taxi or bus.

A confirmation letter with a barcode will be sent to you a few days prior to the Congress.

Please bring your confirmation letter with you to the Congress to enable you to collect your registration material from the prepaid registration stations located in the Registration Area at the Congress Center.

If you do not receive a confirmation letter and barcode, do not worry, you will still be able to use the self-service machines by typing your full name into the machine. Hostesses will be at the Registration Area to assist you. You are kindly requested to wear your badge during all Congress sessions and events.

*Workshop tickets and Technical Session Tickets: Purchased workshop & Technical Session Tickets tickets will be provided from the prepaid registration stations as well.

Sunday, August 11, 2024: IMC12 Congress Opening Ceremony Followed by Networking Reception.

The official language of IMC12 will be English. All abstract submissions and presentations should be in English.

An official personalised letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the scientific programme.

Participants are advised to wear business casual for all Congress functions and programmes.

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The Congress Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
